Technical Research and Development

AOTUO regards technological innovation as the driving force behind its development, with an annual R&D investment consistently exceeding ten million yuan. The company has established a dedicated technical R&D department, staffed by an experienced and highly innovative team. For over two decades, the team has focused on the research and development of screw ship unloader technology, pioneering various installation methods including fixed, truck-mounted, ship-mounted, rail-mounted mobile, and tire-mounted mobile types.

The company owns a provincial-level R&D center and is recognized as a national high-tech enterprise in China. It currently holds over 100 valid patents and software copyrights, along with 13 provincial-level scientific research achievements. AOTUO serves as the lead drafting unit for multiple industry standards, including JC/T 2575 Screw Ship Unloader for Bulk Cement, JC/T 820 Air Conveying Chute for Cement, and JC/T 2862 Technical Requirements for Complete Equipment of Bulk Cement Transfer Stations. Its designed maximum unloading capacity reaches 3,000 tph, capable of handling vessels of up to 200,000 DWT. "Cement Clinker (Coal) Screw Ship Unloader and Supporting Transfer System" independently developed by AOTUO has been recognized as China's First (Set) Major Technical Equipment. Production Quality

AOTUO has a Class A production workshop covering nearly 14,000 square meters, equipped with advanced inspection equipment such as fully automatic CNC machine tools, laser trackers, ultrasonic flaw detectors, adhesion testers, ultrasonic thickness gauges, and idler shaft phase tester devices. Automated welding robots have also been introduced, along with comprehensive process, welding, and painting assembly lines. The production team is highly skilled, with over 70% being intermediate or senior technicians, and regularly participates in training to continuously improve their production techniques.

The management team implements lean quality management practices, utilizing PDCA, TQM, QCC, SPC, 8D, and traditional as well as modern quality management tools to enforce closed-loop standardized management and ensure product quality. To date, the company has obtained certifications for Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. In 2021, AOTUO was recognized as a Level 3 Enterprise for Work Safety Standardization. Production strictly adheres to national and corporate standards, serving as a reliable backbone for frontline ports and terminals.
